Broken oven...arghhhh! It hasn't been working well for a few weeks, but I've been plugging along with the 30-45 minute 'pre-heat' to get the temp up to where it should be for baking whatever. Especially difficult for breads and pizzas that require HOT temp. Now it won't heat at all. Service told me that thermostat is most likely culprit...to the tune of $300-500+. Don't think so! Why is it necessary to program obsolescence into our appliances?
Sooooo, I selected a new statinless steel stove...with smooth top, convection/conventional oven and 5 burners. Hope this is the LAST stove I'll ever need to buy (want to bet?????) It's to be delivered on Monday afternoon.
