Noel visits

We are getting the first soaking rain in months...in fact, the first rain of any kind. Noel is depositing the much needed moisture, but also bringing some not so needed winds. We have gusts that scatter objects not tied down; it's been intermitent all day, but a little steadier now. I awoke to bending trees this morning, then rain began around 10. Just a good old "nor'easter" without the snow. I know you folks in southeast would have liked some of this. Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and beautiful.

Boston College is playing at home tonight (8 p.m.) so we bowed out...first of all, even if the weather had been good, we wouldn't have gotten to bed til after 2 a.m....can't do that anymore. Now, it looks like they'll still be playing in the 60+ mph winds and driving rain. Not a comfortable situation. Instead, Tony & I will attend a symphony concert in Milford.

Adriana had a good time on Halloween, joining the neighbors for a street Trick-or-Treating expedition. She fell asleep pretty early after playing all day and treking in the evening. Then she slept in later than usual on Thursday morning. We took her back to Putnam after her breakfast and visited with Chris & David for a little bit. No good pictures, yet. Look for them in next posting.

Not much else of significance to report. Til next time...
